It is very pleasing that some parts of those who like to kill, maim and injure our wildlife for the fun of it, are in some sort of financial difficulties. I think it shows that the campaign to ban driven grouse shooting as well as the highlighting of the terrible illegal slaughter (especially of hen harriers and mountain hares), and of any wildlife that is not viewed as compatible with grouse shooting, is having a major effect. I do hope we can maintain this campaign because I think the National governments outside of Westminster are responding to it. The rotten Government at Westminster we would not expect to respond anyway, because they and the Tories are hand in glove with the shooting brigade at all times.
