It’s generally the case that the second in one of these series of wildlife documentaries is really good – and that is true of this one. You will watch the first episode to see what’s what and if you come back to the second and see something amazing then you’ll be hooked for the rest of the series.
This one starts and ends with Ostriches, but in between we go back 4+ billion years, hear about (and watch – but it is CGI) vegetative and sexual reproduction, meet the penis and the amniotic egg, and say ‘Hi!’ to our ancestors the marine fish, a bunch of amphibia, some reptiles (many of which were, you know, large) and a bunch of birds including, the Ostrich.
It’s very good! You’ll enjoy it.
