Last night’s episode of evolution was very good, I thought. Covering: the need for an arse, ears, jaws and flight we got to bats.
There was a brief view of Mexican Free-tailed Bats flying out from their roost under the Congress Avenue Bridge over the Colorado River in Austin, Texas, which I witnessed on 24 June 2013 – hundreds of thousands of bats flying out to feed, with skyscrapers lit up in the evening behind them.
This series is very good, I think.
I do wonder though, who washes Chris’s T-shirts and/or how many identical T-shirts he has? It’s maybe not the most important thing to ask him.
