Since it’s Christmas, nearly, here are two cartoons for the price of one for today.

Slightly off topic but just saw depressing news that that number will soon be the population of Hen Harriers.
Seems at least two have been killed by turbines at one wind farm,at least two they are admitting to,is this the tip of the iceberg so to speak and lots being killed that we are not hearing about.
As I am cynical think it is very likely.
Yes I saw it too Dennis, depressing to say the least. It seems as well that the people who killed Bowland Betty have been bragging about it and being bomb proof, sickening but it does eeem to have galvanised opinion locally so all is not quite all lost. I find anger a much better motivator than depression and we cannot afford to loose.
On a lighter note, I like the cartoons and they are relevant and to the point.
I’ve got to say that Hen Harriers are definitley my favorite bird of prey even though I have never seen one. I probably never will now. By the way can’t WWT or the RSPB do a breeding programme to re-establish the population like WWT are doing with the Great Crane Project and Saving The Spoon Billed Sandpiper?
Sadly Jack they won’t do a breeding project as most of the young will be shot, trapped, poisoned etc.
