I hope your command of the apostrophe is better than Ralph’s
filbert – whats a mis’placed apos’trophe or two between friend’s?
And now it’s corrected.
Mrs C, when she is not writing, is a copy editor. An activity which she describes as “wiping the arse of illiterates”. She can be quite fearsome at times. I tremble in my slippers. On cheery note – she says Bloomsbury pay promptly.
Some of the north American megafauna might have made the same comment about the ancestors of the native Americans when they first crossed the Bering straits!
