This guy was sitting on the cold pavement outside a London station the other day playing Christmas carols and tunes on this traffic cone!
He was very good! And as people came out of the station they looked around for the source of the music, which sounded as if it was coming from a horn or suchlike, and when they saw this guy with his traffic cone almost everyone smiled. Some kept walking but many, like me, gave him a few coins. I noticed he said thank you to everyone who gave him something.
Now I know nothing of his story, he may be a millionaire for all I know, but it made me think of the BBC Christmas St Martin in-the-Fields Appeal.
