Henry with friends in Scotland

Thurs 9 July Copy
Henry, me and some raptor enthusiasts in Scotland.

A likely looking bunch!

I was wondering how plans for Hen Harrier Day were progressing north of Hadrian’s wall and so it’s really good to see that the Tayside Raptor Study Group and the Scottish Ornithologists’ Club (remember them?) is planning a Hen Harrier Day event at Loch Turret Reservoir near Crieff.  Good for them!

This will be the first Hen Harrier Day event north of the border.

  1. Sorry Mark, between Hadrian’s Wall and the Scottish border is Northumberland, and although I love the county, its yours!

Scotland has sufficient grouse moor problems without adding Northumberland, thanks.

  2. Sorry I think you will find the Mull event was arranged before this one. So it was the first even though it is on an island!
