21,000

It was last Sunday that our e-petition to ban driven grouse shooting – or at least to get a debate on the subject in the Westminster parliament – passed 20,000 signatures.

Yesterday, Saturday it romped past 21,000 and today, it is within a couple of score of 22,000.

Please note – we are not even half way through our six months allotted time and the pace is not slowing down!

  1. I would like to say is driven grouse shooting should be completely banned as are moorland is so naked without HEN HARRIERS MERLIN SKYLARKS MEADOW PIPITS and many more birds like them.We need to do somwthing about this as mark avery has been doing so with the support of chris packham which I do support very much.As I am a a birdwstcher love all aspects of the natural world we should protect what we have left before its all gone.
We should let are moorlands be a place for nature so are hen harriers can breed again without the shooting going on we need to supprot what mark is doing by getting behind him support him so the government can do something about it.
There is time for change we need to think about what we are here for to protect the land or rape the land of its natural minerals like wecare doing know.So it is up to us to change and help are wildlife have a home without wildlife there will be no home for them And for us as we will be gone too..

  2. It is a Crime that game birds be protected, some of which are non native species by persecuting a beautiful bird of prey and altering habitat to the detriment of other species.
