BOOK REVIEWS

A few of the c500 books in the office where I write. Many of these have been reviewed on my blog but others are simply old chums. I think the house has about 2,500 books even though we have raken scores of boxes of books to the excellent Oxfam bookshop in Oundle.

I started posting reviews of wildlife/conservation/environmental books on my blog in 2012. I have reviewed 550+ books here since then.

Since 2015 I have selected a book to be this blog’s Book of the Year.

Here are most of them but a couple are missing and must be running wild in the house somewhere. Unless I lent them to someone – it wasn’t you, was it?

Here are this blog’s Books of the Year and links to the other books reviewed in that year. You could buy my books of the year from Bookshop.org and I have set up a booklist to make that easy through this link https://uk.bookshop.org/shop/MarkAvery Disclosure: I am an affiliate of Bookshop.org and I will earn a commission if you click through and make a purchase
