I was out for most of yesterday afternoon, all evening and into the early hours of today. I was at the Ricoh arena in Coventry at a Bruce Springsteen concert – and very good it was too.
I was told there were 38000 people there and it was certainly a sell-out. I only mention this because our e-petition to ban driven grouse shooting has passed that total. When you see 38,000 people all together it is impressive. That’s us that is! An impressive crowd – and growing all the time. And we aren’t selling out but have been sold short by government and grouse moor owners.

To return to a thread of a few weeks ago, I was awoken to the sound of a cuckoo calling this morning. Yay!
I also heard my first one yesterday at 4.30am – well chuffed!
