  1. Mark I put in a bid for 77777 with a comment of being optermistic didn’t it arrive (not always computer literate)

  2. Only four contender here! Jim Clarke, Ross Mason, Dave and, of course, me.

    1. Oddly enough I didn’t pick the number as a palindrome; i did a quick calculation and, at steady pace, that was where I thought we would need be to reach 10000 by 20th September. Neat coincidence though!

  3. There certainly won’t be any hard feelings if instead of me, Derbymossfool, Ruth or Karen win.

  4. 50,000 … good news.
    Less positive, just received letter from N.York’s Police saying that it I’d likely they would have charged the pole trap offender if they had followed correct procedure. But CPS has told them not to retrospectively, pathetic.

    To channel the frustration of the conservation community, how about challenge the 50,000 to each find one other person willing to sign the petition to get it to the 100,000 mark?
