  1. I’m often slow on the uptake but I confess I don’t understand the reference to an entirely made up construct that was created to represent units of grain. Help someone, please, or my brain may overheat!

  2. “One has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy. This has almost nothing to do with the environmental policy anymore. We redistribute de facto the world’s entirely made up constructs that were created to represent units of grain by climate policy. The next world climate summit is actually an economy summit during which the distribution of the world’s entirely made up constructs that were created to represent units of grain will be negotiated.” said Edenhofer.

  3. Thanks, Filbert and Mark.
I’m somewhat closer to understanding. I’ll accept the simple explanation from Mark, but still struggle a little with the quote.

    1. Ottmar Edenhofer was a UN IPCC bigwig. Both he and Christiana Figueres, a UNFCCC bigwig, let slip that the purpose of their organisations and their massive jamborees was not about climate, but the redistribution of wealth.
