The e-petition is still open and welcomes more signatures – and more constituencies in this list. It’s quite a blue list isn’t it…?

But here is somemore anlysis, provided by ‘a reader’ of the split between the parties across the UK:

Analysis done when signatures = 100,131

..and another of the strength of support by party (in England) in rural and urban seats:

Analysis done when signatures = 100,131

Please sign this e-petition by Chris Packham calling for a ban of driven grouse shooting.

  1. It certainly is very blue. 83 Con vs 18 Lab. I’m sure somebody would have a field day analysing those figures.
It does of course mean that the Cons have the most to lose, but also that Labour will know how to attract extra voters.
One thing we should all remember is that DGS is not an exclusive ‘sport’ of the Conservatives. There are no guarantees who ever is in power. Let’s keep those signatures coming and increase the pressure.

  2. They have given a response to the petition.
Usual greenwash in fact not even sure it isn’t a cut and paste from last time.
I am sure Mark will tear it apart.

    1. Me too, Prasad.

It’s amusing that some DGS supporters on “social” media have noted this response and are claming it as some kind of victory. Are they really that stupid that they think this was unexpected?
