Tidy houses, tidy inboxes, messy hair

Being confined to one’s house enables one to do some of that decluttering that never gets done at other times. The inboxes of my email accounts are now slimmed down and many emails are filed away properly and an awful lot are deleted. And the same goes for the house, although that is a much bigger job, there isn’t an easy ‘delete’ button for old clothes, old books or stuff that one has no idea why or how it ended up with me. And the garden is getting more attention – not to make it tidier because it is mostly quite wild, but to make it more productive for food – another long term aim that we can now tackle.

So everything is getting tidier. Except my hair. It doesn’t seem that long ago that I had a haircut but I need one now and I can see it being quite a while before I get one.

Which do you think – Alice band or bandana?

  2. Time for a style change Mark, a No 4 would be a start or be radical and go for No 2, if you don’t like the change it will grow out. I’ve cut my own for years ( currently No 2)

  3. Those of us who work from home anyway still dont find time to cut hair (hasn’t happend for about 20 years, apart from my fringe – criteria, if it pokes me in eye, cut it…) or clean the house… although the days when we would have met friends have been filled with a bit of deciding whether I really SHOULD start to think about cleaning the house or not…..usually ends up with just going out for a long bike ride instead
