I’ve started being a 9-5 person. I’m now often heading to bed at 9pm and waking at around 5am. This morning, after standing outside for a few minutes, to listen to the end of the dawn chorus, I turned on my computer to see that, as I expected, there was a flood of entries for this blog’s Lockdown Nature-Writing Challenge between my bedtime and midnight.
There were over 40 entries and my first very quick read-through only winnowed this down to 33. So I have my work cut out in picking a short list of 10 pieces on which you can vote to choose the ‘winner’.
I’ll post my shortlist of 10 articles on Sunday morning and open the voting on Monday evening, and close the voting on Sunday afternoon. So I hope you will have some time to enjoy reading the shortlist.
