10 days to go with the e-action

Over 62,000 e-actions have been taken since Hen Harrier Day, pressing elected politicians to act on wildlife crime and generally on the ecological problems associated with driven grouse shooting. Thank you – it’s an amazing response and I’m sure it has quite a way to go still.

62,000 e-actions in 14 days. 10 days still to go… Hmmmm….

If you have already contacted your elected politician – thank you! You are one of over 62,000 who have done so.

But if you want to give your elected politician a nudge to act for change then please send them a message through this e-action which is a joint campaign by the RSPB, Hen Harrier Action and Wild Justice. Click here to have a look please. Thank you!

Here are the 20 top English constituencies colour-coded by the party (Conservative, Labour or Green) of the sitting MP:

Derbyshire Dales, 155 e-actions

Sheffield Hallam, 151 e-actions

Central Devon, 150 e-actions

High Peak, 148 e-actions

Coastal Suffolk, 145 e-actions

Totnes, 134 e-actions

Isle of Wight, 132 e-actions

Wells, 132 e-actions

Somerton and Frome, 132 e-actions

South Cambridgeshire, 129 e-actions

Skipton and Ripon, 129 e-actions

Bristol West, 126 e-actions

Thirsk and Malton, 125 e-actions

Hexham 121 e-actions

Southeast Cambridgeshire, 121 e-actions

West Dorset, 121 e-actions

Brighton Pavilion, 120 e-actions

Keighley, 119 e-actions

South Norfolk, 119 e-actions

Calder Valley, 117 e-actions

There’s been some jostling for position but the list is very similar to the last update with Hexham coming into the list and Westmorland and Lonsdale dropping out ( perhaps temporarily).

In Scotland, because of the size of the constituencies, Highlands and Islands MSPs have all received around 500 e-actions from constituents and in second place comes Lothian with around 470 e-actions going to MSPs.

This is a mighty e-action. Thank you to everyone taking part – now ask your friends to sign up too please. 10 days to go – how high can we get?

    1. Francis – yes, last time I looked, as is NI. Updates in due course. can’t do everything at once… And grouse shooting is less of an issue in Wales and NI. But response from the public to the e-action has been strong.

      1. Quite – I do of course understand both of those caveats; but it will be nice to see the figures when/if you are able.
