I am considering stopping my monthly payment to my local trust and instead giving it to The World Land Trust.
Local trusts are just as important. They are solving different problems.
I have always maintained where possible support at least three charities: one local/national, one international and one specialist.
among my current favourites are Suffolk Wildlife Trust, and Bat Conservation Trust.

Bravo, my only complaint about the WLT is that there isn’t an easy way on the website (that I’ve found) to increase one’s monthly donation. Seems like a bit of an own goal!
