Fantastic Mr Fox’s wood and Natural England

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/environment/2021/04/14/high-court-challenge-launched-hs2-felling-fantastic-mr-fox-woodland/

Following Dominic Woodfield’s guest blog here last week, a High Court challenge has been issued over HS2’s felling of parts of Jones Hill Wood under licence from our very own statutory, ahem, nature conservation agency.

This reminds me of nothing so much as :

It is horrifying that we have to fight our own government to save the environment.

  1. Well this is clearly quite a milestone but you give no commentary and I'm personally not at all sure what it means for Jones Hill Wood in particular and the rest of HS2's plans for ecological destruction in general. Would you be able to get Dominic back to explain the significance?
