Well, apart from a typo – is he misspelling ‘fattest’ or ‘fastest’? – the Galapagos Penguin can be seen in the northern hemisphere and I’m lucky enough to have done so. Pedantic? You bet!

Are gentoo penguins really all that fat?
Another important and little-known fact. The UK is responsible for more penguins than any other nation. (South Georgia, South Sandwich Islands, Falklands and Tristan).
The Galápagos penguin can claim (just) a northern hemisphere distribution.
I’ve swum with Galapagos penguins as well and didn’t find them at all pedantic!
