1. I do hope that Henry is being careful out there. It’s not safe.

   And have you noticed that Sir Ian Botham has profoundly altered the context within which brood removal is deemed appropriate?

   The Hawk and Owl Trust tell us that removal of broods will remove the incentive to kill hen harriers. Now, Sir Ian is offering ten grand to anyone who can remove the eggs after the adults vanished!

   So he appears to run the risk of positively incentivising the removal of adult hen harriers, sure in the knowledge that someone else will come along and dispose of the brood too!
