  1. We had books by G Bramwell Evans which I read as a child. I was led to believe that he and my great grandfather were good friends, so nice to read something about him as his idea of “the balance of nature” (in I think A Romany in the Fields) made a lasting impression on me when young.

  2. I too was given and collected all Bramwell Evans’ books as a schoolboy.
    A good appetite whetter for a seventy-five year interest in Natural History.

    A quible – the print in these articlesis is far too small. Will they be published in book form?
