It may seem longer, but at 4:25pm or so today we will have completed two weeks of this petition. It would be nice to have reached 80,000 signatures by then but I guess we’ll still be a little short of 79,000.
In 2016, when we reached 100,000 for a similar petition in c20 weeks, at this stage, after 2 weeks, the petition stood at c13,000 signatures. This time it has got off to a really quick start.
Today I’ll be posting postcards to people who have asked for them. Oh, and I’ll be watching the signature total at around 4:25pm too.
